Srinivasa Charya is a seasoned technology professional with 36+ years of software development expertise, having worked with world-class organizations such as IBM, Fidelity Investments, Mellon Financials, EMC, Cognizant, and eBay Inc. He earned his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from BITS-Pilani in 1988, establishing a strong foundation in technology and innovation.
Over the years, Srinivasa Charya has gained extensive hands-on experience in C, C++, Java, Oracle Database, MySQL, Unix (HP-UX, Sun Solaris), Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu), Machine Learning, and Data Science. His career includes consulting assignments for Eagle Investment Systems Inc., Newton, MA, USA (2001–2004) and Avon Products Inc., New York (2006–2011), where he contributed to mission-critical software solutions.
In his early career, Srinivasa Charya specialized in C and C++ development before transitioning into database technologies like Oracle and MySQL. He played a key role in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications such as Eagle PACE, Eagle STAR, Caliper 2000, and customizing Manugistics (JDA) supply chain solutions.
Beyond corporate roles, Srinivasa Charya is also a consultant trainer for Oracle and Microsoft technologies and has 10+ years of teaching experience in Python, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, MySQL, Data Structures in C, Machine Learning, and Data Science. His training approach blends real-world project expertise with practical, hands-on learning, making complex topics easier for students and professionals.
After spending 9 years in the USA, Srinivasa Charya relocated to Hyderabad, India in 2012 and continues to contribute to the tech industry through consulting, mentoring, and advanced technology training.
